Girls entering 1st Grade are part of the Junior Camp community – the side of camp affectionately called “The Champs”. The Freshmen relish their role as the oldest girls in Junior Camp! While still under the warm and nurturing umbrella of Junior Camp, as the oldest campers on this side of camp, the Freshmen are empowered as leaders and role models for the younger campers. Their program is designed to foster the continued growth in each individual camper, while at the same time, prepares them to move up to Girls’ Side the following summer. Freshmen summer is one the campers will never forget!
I am so happy with how well Alexa is doing this summer, and she absolutely loves camp. Your staff is doing an amazing job and I cant wait to sign my younger daughter up for next summer!

Campers thrive in Junior Camp because of our patient, mature and nurturing staff, appropriately-sized facilities, and an emphasis on being a good friend. Our staff is extensively trained, and our program is intentionally designed, to encourage each group of campers to become a family. It is so wonderful to see our Junior Campers grow over the course of one short summer!
It’s such a thrill to see our Junior Campers experience everything that Ramaquois has to offer! The Freshmen program is designed to be well balanced. Each day features instructional swim, free swim, lunch and a balance between athletic and non-athletic activities. Their daily program is supplemented by exciting special events, making each day at Ramaquois truly unique!
Curious about how COVID-19 might affect the schedule? We are planning to move all activities outdoors, keep groups of campers separate, and institute additional cleaning and safety procedures. For more details, visit our Covid Update Page.
