Walk into the air-conditioned Dining Hall during a camp lunch, and you will feel the spirit and energy of Ramaquois. No matter which side of camp is eating, you can be sure there will be singing, dancing, laughing and cheering!
At Ramaquois, lunch is served family style. Campers share a table with their friends and counselors. Eating together as a family promotes a community-centered experience. It allows our counselors to encourage the campers to try new foods, make healthy choices and stay hydrated.
Lunch choices vary throughout the summer so campers can experience different types of food. In addition to our featured lunch, each day we offer alternative options for campers who don’t like the main meal or have dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free, Kosher, vegetarian, allergies, etc).
Each camp day, campers are provided with a morning snack, keeping them energized and nourished throughout the early activities; there is also an end-of-day treat such as fruit, ice pops or ice cream. Fresh fruit is always available (and encouraged) throughout the day.
Our allergy coordinator and a camp nurse are in the Dining Hall for every camp lunch. The safety of our campers is our number one priority. Ramaquois does not serve any nut or peanut butter products.
