Ramaquois has been my summer home for over 20 years. It has made a lasting impact on me and in turn has allowed me to pass on my passion for camp to today’s children. The best times of the year, every year!

Our Mission
Ramaquois takes immense pride in hiring elite staff. Enriching the lives of children is much easier said than done, which is why we take no shortcuts when screening and selecting the best of the best. Our goal is to hire kind, compassionate, caring, bright, and relatable counselors. Ramaquois counselors turn a group of children into a family. Our staff understands the magic of building lifelong relationships, creating everlasting memories and providing opportunities for social growth.

Staff Training
Each and every staff member is required to participate in The University of Ramaquois training and skill development program before each camp summer begins. Staff members participate in personalized training sessions ranging from topics like “Fun & Safety on the Bus”, “Risk Management & Safety” to “The Camper-Counselor Dynamic” and “Discovering the Power of Introverts.” We continue professional development sessions throughout the summer. Our focus on staff training allows us to sharpen the skills of our staff and ensure we provide the best camp experience possible for our campers.
